Live in Gratitude and Honor Our Ancestors

 

In the United States, our current conversations are frequently about politics. Immigrants are very concerned about the new government and the political climate.

Generations in Action (GeA) is working to create a new proposal to honor our ancestors in our daily lives and to reclaim our values, connections and share daily rituals.

We invite you to take a moment every day and thank your parents and ancestors.

How can you honor, celebrate, and remember your ancestors?

Some suggestions:

Dedicate positive actions on behalf of your ancestors.
Stay open to direct communication from your ancestors.

Establish a physical place to honor your ancestors, such as an altar, a garden, or a special place.
